KidsZone: Drawing Contest
1. To celebrate fall and KidsZone, Yankee Magazine is hosting a foliage drawing contest for children ages 13 and under again in 2010. To enter the contest, submit your original drawing or painting of a fall scene.
2. Artwork will be judged by Yankee's editorial team who will choose the best picture of fall's bright colors based on artistic originality, technique, and color selection. Above all, we want to be surprised and delighted, as we are every year by New England's fall foliage display.
3. The winning picture will be posted online in KidsZone with the winner's first name, age, and state. The winner also gets a great prize, a tote bag filled with the following goodies: a Star Rocket Science Kit Station, a Glow-In-The-Dark Solar System, a Weather Watcher's 2011 Calendar, an Almanac for Kids Nalgene bottle, and The Old Farmer's Almanac for Kids: Volume 3, which covers topics such as astronomy, nature, farming, gardening, history, and weather. The informative and amusing stories, featuring hundreds of wacky and fascinating facts, will appeal to kids of all ages.
4. Mail entries by November 15, 2010, to: Yankee Foliage Drawing Contest, Yankee Magazine, 1121 Main St, Dublin, NH 03444.
